Hippodrom
The Hippodrom is to the right of the entrance and considers itself to be the tent for celebrities attracting the likes of Boris Becker and Oliver Kahn. This tent has the highest flirt factor. Armbrustschützenzelt
At the Oktoberfest since 1895, the boxes and balconies are named after local animals from "A" Adler to "W" Warthog. Since 1935 the German Crossbow Championships have been held here during the Oktoberfest in the 30 metre long shooting gallery. Various items of a hunting nature are hung around the walls. Hofbräu Festzelt
Tourists from all over the world come to this tent nto sample the famous Hofbräu beer. Popular with younger crowd this could be considered to be the loudest tent - even from early morning. Hacker Festzelt
Another tent that is popular with the younger crowd. The Hacker is also known as the "Bavarian Heaven" because of the blue ceiling and white clouds and is considred to be the prettiest tent. Schottenhamel

Winzerer Fähndl
Easily identified by the rotatinf beer stein that stands outside the front this tent will be completely revamped for 2010. For the first time there will be a central bar area and a beer supply piped direct from the brewery so the beer supply will never be disrupted! Käfers Wiesn-Schänke
This is another tent where you will see many celebrities. As well as beer you can also buy wine and champagne. This tent stays open until 1am but you will have difficulty getting past the bouncers late in the evening. Weinzelt
The only tent where your beer is not served in one litre steins, here you can only have half litres of wheat beer. In the wooden interior wines and champagnes, including the local Nymphenburger Sekt, are the focus here. Bräurösl
The tent is named after the daughter of the original owner of the Pschorr brewery. This is a quaint tent and quite cosy. Augustiner
The tent of Munich's oldest brewery this one is favoured by the locals and the one considered to ne the most family friendly. For the jubilee year the tent will once again have a 25 metre high tower at the front for the first time since the Second World War. Augustiner Beer 6.4%. This is the tent for Bavarians. Famous for the whole ox that roasts on the spit for the last 130 years, visitors check the name and number of the ox on a plaque above the rotisserie. This is the tent for you if you prefer fish as they cook the Steckerlfisch on a 15 metre long stick. The band plays on a stage that looks like a boat and the older crowd are attracted to this tent.
